Unique Lunch celebration in L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon

This was my second visit to L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. This time it was for a special birthday celebration. It was difficult to pick a restaurant as the birthday guest is a maestro gastronomist. What safe options are there? I could only think of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. This…Michelin two-star restaurant offers a perfect “theatre of the senses” (quoted from their website) and in a pleasantly surpring way!

L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon – Ground floor area.

Sat at the bar, you could see the open kitchen live in action. You can see more photos of that on my previous post.

For lunch, the restaurant offers 2 courses, 3 courses and 4 courses set with or without wine pairing. So we ordered 1 of the 4 courses set with wine pairing (3 wines in total) and some sides and main dish. Would recommend the sets with wine pairing. It’s worth it!

Forgot to take a picture of the main menu so only have the names for the dishes on the set menu – to the right Sea bream carpacio flavored with lemon and Espelette chili.

Green asparagus cappuccino served with golden croutons. The other one is chicken or duck with grapes I think…

Caramelized black leg chicken, mix of wild mushrooms and garlic.

We were asked to move to the Bar & Terrace on the 3rd floor. Have never been here so it was quite nice!

Le Mango Mango – Coulis and mousse of Mango, Joconde biscuit and exotic sorbet.
This was the dessert from our 4-course menu. Very nice presentation.

Special birthday cake!
